Bulldog Pride in February

Can you believe it? Another month has come and gone. February was filled with many wonderful days and events that happened. The highlight of the month, has got to be our Bulldog Pride Assemblies! This month we awarded our two Alpha Dog Winners! Congratulations to Mrs. Hoffman and Mr. Jensen. Barnett wouldn't be the same without these two wonderful teachers. Congratulations to the students who were awarded Top Dog of the Month and Leaders of the Month! Way to be awesome students! We are lucky to have each and everyone one of you at our school!

Dr. Seuss Day Fun

Angela Stoddard, Melissa Fuhriman

Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss! We at Barnett Elementary celebrated the favorite childhood author's birthday on March 2. Students and teachers were invited to dress up like their favorite book characters to celebrate the day. There were read alouds, and readathons! Special thanks to the Community Action Center for donating books to every student to take home! We appreciate what you do for our kids and their education.

Synergizing among Grade Levels

Melissa Fuhriman

Barnett is a Leader in Me school where we learn about habits and try to pracitce them as much as we can. We had some students who were demonstrating Habit number 6, Synergizing. Mrs. Taylor's 4th grade students taught Mrs. Fuhriman's 2nd grade students about the rock cycle! They used chocolate chips and as you can see in the pictures, it was a really good time!
