Congratulations students, teachers and parents for being recognized and celebrated in our first ever virtual Bulldog Pride assembly!  Next month we are planning to come to each class (it was awesome doing this for our PM kinder and Alpha Dogs this time!) so classmates can cheer while we hand out certificates and wristbands for our Top Dogs and Leaders of the Month!  A huge thank you to Mrs. Ostler, Mrs. Humphries and Mrs. Sumpsion... this looks great!  If this link does not open, the video has been uploaded to our YouTube channel as well as our Facebook page.

Tuesday, September 22:  School Pictures
Dia de la Foto Escolar 22 de Septiembre

Fall Picture Day is coming! On Tuesday, Sep 22, we will be having school pictures taken. All students can have their pictures taken, even if they are not purchasing prints. Picture packets will be coming home and you can send payment the day of pictures or pay online - which we encourage.

Remote student are welcome to come for pictures from 2:00-2:30.

Because of Covid-19,  LifeTouch discourages taking pictures of small children (younger siblings) because they cannot physically move them when taking a picture.

We want to wish a CONGRATULATIONS for Miss Nash, a wonderful 1st grade teacher. She was selected as the Crystal Apple Teacher for 2019-2020, but due to school closure we were unable to be awarded last year.

Her team had this to say about her: "Miss Nash is an extremely dedicated teacher. She will do all she can to make sure all students learn in her classroom. She is always finding new ways to teach concepts in new, exciting ways. She is so organized and is very dependable. She is such a great asset to our first grade team and to Barnett Elementary. Congratulations Miss Nash!"

“A day of remembrance for those that lost their lives, and for all of those who gave their lives.  We Remember!”

“The attacks of September 11 were intended to break our spirit.  Instead we have emerged stronger and more unified.  We feel renewed devotion to the principles of political, economic and religious freedom...” - Rudy Giuliani

Nearly 3,000 people in New York, Virginia, and Pennsylvania lost their lives on September 11, 2001, nineteen years ago.  We remember and will never forget!
