Congratulations to our Top Dogs and Leaders of the Month in each class. Students are nominated by their teachers for showing exemplary leadership qualities, excellent behavior or academic growth and accomplishment. Well done Leaders!
Our Dog Gone Great Parent is Mrs. Amanda Webb. Amanda was nominated by our faculty for her efforts to help and support our students and faculty.
Each month it is our pleasure to recognize 4 "Alpha Dog(s) of the Month" ... outstanding employees who have gone above and beyond for our students! We will recognize two (2) certified employees and two (2) classified employees in our Bulldog Pride Assembly the last Friday of each month. October Alpha Dogs are: Miss Stephanie Sheets, Mrs. Alma Powell, Mrs. Kath Johnson and Mrs. Patti Davis. Alpha Dogs are nominated by our faculty & staff who recognize their positive contributions to our students and school. Thank you for making our school great!
Thank you to our 70 students and 1 teacher who participated in our 2nd year of our no-carve pumpkin contest. Students selected a book they have read and painted or created a pumpkin to go with the book.
Magic happens when children read. These pumpkins show what wonderfully creative minds our students have. Thanks to Miss Patti, our librarian, for organizing this event and helping our students develop a love of reading.
Mrs. Brown has had the privilege of sharing Halloween stories with each class this week. Ask your child what story they heard from our wonderful principal.
The holidays are just around the corner and we want to make sure that you have information to help families in need this Christmas. For over 35 years, United Way of Utah County's Sub for Santa has coordinated with local schools and nonprofits to provide gifts for children in Utah County. These gifts include books, educational toys, and winter clothes. This is a temporary Christmas assistance program that assists families that are not getting help from anyone else. Sub for Santa goes beyond Christmas. We also help families with taxes, parenting support, and link them to other needed resources. Please see the flyer for more information. And thank you to UNITED WAY for looking out for children and families especially during the holidays.
