Barnett Elementary had a special visitor to celebrate Read for the Record, an event where children across America celebrate literacy by reading the same book. Nebo School District Board Member, Christine Riley visited our school to share the book for this year, Otis by Loren Long. Mrs. Riley read to Kindergarten and 1st graders the book, Otis, about an important tractor and even shared a story abouther own family’s tractors. She then donated the book she read to our school library. The children loved listening to the story, Otis read by our special visitor. Thanks for visiting our school Mrs. Riley!
