This month's teacher spotlight is on the third grade team. The three third grade teachers are Ms. Robyn Curtis, Mr. Austin Cope, and Mrs. Beth Knudsen.

He is always looking for ways to improve the school.  Mr. Cope is not only a fun person and teacher, but he is a very effective teacher.  He motivates his students to work hard and to be awesome!  He brings his interests into his class in a way that helps his students connect with him and want to do their best to make him proud. He is great at problem-solving and is a wonderful team leader.  He doesn't stress about the unimportant things which makes him a great team member.

Focus On--Mrs. Knudsen

Mrs. Knudsen is a wonderful person to work with. She always works hard and has great ideas of how to get things done well. She is very easy going and fun to work with. Mrs. Knudsen is an asset to the 3rd grade team because she makes sure that things are planned and followed through. Mrs. Knudsen is a joy to work with.  She is always prepared, aware of what's on the calendar. Beth is easy to work with, and always pleasant.

All of the third grade teachers quickly remark about how much they love being on the third grade team.  Two of the teachers stated, "We get along so well!"  Ms. Curtis added, "We each have strengths that help the others, and it is easy and comfortable to learn from each other. We can have fun together as well as get great things done!" As a result, the third grade team is able to plan effectively to help the third graders of Barnett Elementary!
