3rd Grade Field Trip

Submitted by dayna.kirgan on

The third grade students had an awesome field trip. They went to the BYU Bean museum. They went to one of the shows the museum puts on about ecosystems and living and non-living things. The kids could even pet a snake if they wanted! After that, the kids enjoyed a nice lunch eating and playing in a park. The day was really fun and the kids were great. Thank you to the parent volunteers for your help. Thank you to the Bean Museum for letting Barnett students visit! It was a blast!

Awarding Mrs. Franson!

Janet is an amazing teacher and exemplifies everything said in this poem. She is inspiring, patient, caring, and really pays attention to all of her students.  She has a great relationship with them and shows them that they are important.  She is willing to do everything and anything asked of her.  The special ed students and teachers at Barnett would be lost without her.  We love Mrs. Franson!!!

4th Grade Rendezvous

Submitted by dayna.kirgan on

The fourth grade students have been learning about Mountain Men. They learned about all of the Mountain Men who lived in Utah. The students worked hard to earn beaver pelts in class in preparation for the rendezvous. On Friday, the students got to use their beaver pelts to trade at the rendezvous for items from the trading post, play games and to get scones and other delicious treats.
