5th Grade visited the Loveland Living Planet Aquarium in Draper, UT January 29th. Students enjoyed seeing baby penguins, river otters, and even sharks! They had the opportunity to touch sea urchins, starfish, and sting rays. Students especially enjoyed the South American exhibit, where they felt like they were in the jungle. They even walked across a rope bridge. The day ended at Cabela's, where students enjoyed lunch and then got to walk around the store and see the different animals.

The first graders celebrated the 100th Day of School on January 29. We did a lot of fun activities for 100's Day. We counted to a 100 by 2's, 5's and 10's and we even wrote 100 sight words. We ended the day by doing a fun art project made out of the number 100 and we ate 100 of our favorite treats! It was such a fun day!

Officer Wright Teaches Safety to Barnett

Submitted by jaimie.standish on
Officer Bill Wright came to Barnett today to talk about being safe in our community. He reviewed walking safety and taught students how to use traffic signs to help them know where it is safe to walk and where it is not. He helped students to remember the importance of being safe and aware as they are walking to and from school. We want all of our Bulldogs to be safe!
