3rd Grade Grandparents Day Program

Submitted by dayna.kirgan on

3rd Grade Leaders had their grandparents day program. The students have been practicing parts and songs to show their appreciation for their grandparents. Grandparents get to come have lunch with their grandchild, watch a program, and enjoy a cookie together. There were tears in the audience as the grandparents listened to the wonderful music and watched the special video made just for them. Grandkids smiled and waved and were so excited to spend the day with their grandparents. The third grade teachers would just like to thank everyone that could come.

It is never too late to celebrate the successes of Barnett Students! In October, Barnett Leaders and teachers gathered together for their Barnett Bulldog Pride Assembly. This was a special event. Not only did we get to recognize those awesome Top dogs and leaders this month, we were able to find out the winner of the packs! Congratulations to our red pack!

Halloween with a Monster Dash of fun!

Submitted by dayna.kirgan on

As if Halloween couldn't be spooky enough, Barnett Monsters had their annual Monster Dash! We had skeletons, witches, and many other fun costumes dashing around the field to earn money from their sponsors. The money that is being collected will go to buying new supplies for teachers. We are still collecting Monster Dash forms so bring them in quick to help out our school!

Firemen's Coloring Contest

Submitted by dayna.kirgan on

These talented students entered the Fireman's coloring contest and won,  each representing the winner from  their grade levels. Because of their accomplishment, they had the opportunity to go the fire station and have lunch with the firefighters. They had so much fun and were so happy to go. What a great reward for some great work! Nice job Barnett leaders. Thank you to our firefighters who make this possible!

September Bulldog Pride

Submitted by dayna.kirgan on

The first Bulldog Pride assembly of the year has already come and gone. This purpose of a Bulldog Pride assembly is to gather the school together to celebrate leaders among our school. In each class, the teacher chooses one student as Top Dog, someone who is taking their academics seriously and who does quality work. The teacher also chooses someone from their class as leader of the month. This is someone who is following the 7 habits and exhibiting great leadership skills.
