District Sponsored Events

Utah Symphony 4th Grade Program

Each school year the Utah Symphony provides an outreach program for all 4th grade students in Nebo District. Classroom teachers receive materials to help students prepare for this formal concert experience. These materials are based on the Utah State Music Core Curriculum, as is the performance itself.

The event is rotated yearly between Nebo District High Schools in order to fit both the symphony and students into one acoustically appropriate location. Two performances are scheduled on the day of the event and schools are assigned by their geographic location of the host high school.
