Dear Parents / Queridos Padres,

Nebo students and families that have fallen on hard times and will be needing school backpacks and supplies this school year are invited to the Spanish Fork Tennis Courts at the fairgrounds, 475 South Main Street in Spanish Fork on Saturday, July 30, 2022, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.

Each school-aged child may receive a backpack filled with school supplies and other free resources that will be available at this event.

Backpacks are first come, first served, and there is no guarantee. Child must be present to receive a backpack.

Ramona Smith is joining Barnett as a Title I technician this year. Next year will be her 30th wedding anniversary, and has one son. She likes to drive and travel, and is a member of Utah Minis Owners Club where they travel together all over Utah. She also likes to go picture hunting. Mrs. Smith is a 6th generation lace maker. She tats and crochets with her grandmother still.  

Favorite drink: anything with "little ice" 
Favorite treat: french fries

Welcome to Anna Munoz - coming to Barnett as a technician in our TK classroom. She has 4 children and they loved to watch movies together. She likes to garden, play games and go shopping and can play the piano.

Miss Bradley has just graduated with her master's degree from BYU and is a new Speech Language Pathologist at Barnett. She is from Houston, Texas and has 3 younger brothers. She loves hiking, hanging out with friends, dancing, reading, playing pickleball, trying out new recipes and also loves singing in choirs and am currently working on becoming a dance instructor She also enjoys cross-stitching. 

Favorite drink: Mango Breeze at Swig, or anything peachy

Nebo is partnering with the Utah Food Bank again this year to provide free summer meals in four of Nebo School District communities. Fresh and free summer meals will be offered every Monday through Friday.

Mrs. Gillespie joins us as a Title I technician having moved to Utah 4 months ago from Virginia where she helped her daughter open a bakery. She has 7 children and 25 grandchildren. She loves to walk, ride her bike, bake, sew and spend time with her family. She is able to love people and make friends, as well as she loves music and can play the flute.

Mrs. Mangelson joins us as our new assistant secretary from Taylor Elementary where she worked as a secretary and skills technician. She is from West Mountain and has 4 kids. They enjoy stock shows and camping. She also loves to sing, cook and garden.

Favorite treat: chocolate 
Birthday: October 5 

She hopes the students know she is there to help them!
