Monday night Barnett Elementary turned into Whoville and students, families, teachers, and the communities came together to celebrate Dr. Suess in style! The families enjoyed a yummy dinner followed by participating in reading activities, games, and PTA events. The PTA held a Book Basket Auction and thanks to lots of support from our parents and community were able to raise lots of money for our school. Another exciting part of the evening was sending every child home with their very own book that night. It was a fun time to celebrate reading, learning, and spend time with families and friends!
