Barnett Elementary – Heather Boogert
Heather Boogert, SpEd Counselor at Barnett Elementary said, “Thank you so much for the grant. It will be used for our Green Room (Wellness Room)! This is a preventative space for our students to learn to regulate their emotions and behaviors prior to shutting down, melting down, exploding, making poor choices, etc. With this grant we will be able to provide the space, and activities for students to recognize and identify the emotions they are feeling, reset and refocus, and return to the classroom ready to learn! Thank you for making it possible!”
