The Payson Fire Department held their Fire Prevention Week coloring contest this month and the winners from Barnett are: Myla Millett, Kira Muir, Sarah Rash, Jaycee Johnson, Emmalee Epps, and McKenzie Mitchell. These students got to take a ride on a fire truck to the fire station where they enjoyed a delicious lunch with Payson city firefighters. We want to thank the Payson Fire Department for helping our students learn about fire safety in a fun way!
Barnett students showed their crazy hair today and their commitment to live a drug free life! Tomorrow we finish out our Red Ribbon Week with "One School-One Goal-Bully and Drug Free!" We want all our students to wear their Barnett shirts and school colors (navy blue and yellow) to show school spirit and school unity!
"I"m Too Bright for Drugs!" Look at all the bright students at Barnett! Tomorrow's theme is "Hairs to a Drug Free Life!" We can't wait to see all the crazy hair tomorrow!
We had lots of students dress like their friends today to show they will help each other make good choices. Tomorrow's theme is "I'm Too Bright for Drugs!" and we want all our students to wear the brightest colored clothes they have.
Happy Drug Free Day from Barnett! Our students wore red today to show they have courage to say "No to drugs, alcohol, and bullying!" Tomorrow's theme is "Friends don't let friends bully or do drugs!" We want the students to dress like their friend tomorrow.
Students from Barnett were granted free tickets from Gary Jones at RE/MAX Real Estate recently for making good choices. Any student that had earned a Barnett Brag Note so far this year had their name in a drawing. Two students from every grade were visited by Gary Jones, bullfighter Chuck Swisher, and "Wild Child" Troy Lerwill who gave each student 2 tickets to the Bullfighting Event that took place in Spanish Fork last week. We would like to thank RE/MAX Real Estate for donating the tickets to our students!
Students at Barnett Elementary are off to a great start this school year! They have been working hard to earn Brag Notes. When a student earns a brag note their name is added to the Principal’s 200 Club Board. Brag notes can be earned by making good choices, working hard in school, and being a good friend or helper just to name a few things. Once the board is full of student names we have a drawing for books and prizes. Here are some of our winners for the month of September. Thanks for making so many good choices Barnett Bulldogs!
