Congratulations to our 5th graders who are graduating out of elementary school and are off to middle school!!

It is with sad hearts that we bid another farewell to these magnificent teachers and women. They have a combined 42 years of teaching under their belts, most at Barnett. Our 5th grade students will see a couple teachers next year at Valley View Middle School! We wish them all the best in their next grand adventure. Please let them know how much you appreciate them.   We love you all!

Bright Ideas Summer:  Changing the World with our Bright Ideas

When: July 3-7 and 10-14, 2023 (except for July 4) 8:00 a.m. to Noon

Where: Larsen Elementary School-Spanish Fork
Cost: $150 Per Child

Bright Ideas is for highly motivated elementary school-aged students, interested in learning new things. Open to all students entering kindergarten through those entering sixth grade this fall.

We have some wonderful support faculty at our school - from computers to speech to our school counselor - that are not returning to Barnett next year.  They have made a huge impact on our school during their time here and we will miss them.  We are happy for their new students at their new schools that we know will love them as much as we do!  We love you all!

Students in Mrs. Sonntag's class researched different habitats, wrote reports, and then created mini habitats. They really enjoyed sharing them with everyone at Barnett!

Our Last Day of School is on Thursday, May 25, 2023.  Student's will be dismissed at noon.

Students, faculty and staff, enjoy your summer!  You will be missed.  Our school buildings are just not the same without our beloved students.

If you have a lunch balance owed, please pay ASAP.  If the balance is left in the positive, it will roll-over to next year.  Even if your student attends a different school in Nebo, the positive balance will follow them.  It is crucial your balance owed is paid ASAP.  You may pay on Infinite Campus, or with cash or check to the office. 

We are excited to send home a Calm Kit with each student for the summer! Instructions are included that you can read with your child on how to use each tool. The summer reading blackout board is also included. Have a safe and happy summer!

We are excited to send off our kindergarten students to their next great adventure - first grade!! These students are ready and have learned so much. Thank you to teachers, aides, technicians, volunteers, helpers and parents. Together we are better!
