The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) Student Neighborhood Access Program (SNAP) is a fun and comprehensive program for walking and biking safely to school that engages and educates students, parents, school administrators, crossing guards and communities. The Barnett PTA had students participate in Walk More in Four, a program by SNAP encouraging students to walk to school or around their neighborhood for four days of the four weeks in September. One student, Andrea Plascencia, participated in the program and won a new bike from UDOT. Other Barnett Students won music CDs from SNAP for walking to school. We'd like to thank our PTA for encouraging our students to walk more and stay healthy!
