On December 18, Mrs. Evans' kindergarten class took a ride on the Polar Express. The children were very excited and loved pretending they were part of the story.  Along the way we had hot chocolate, yummy cookies, and the best part of all, a visit from Santa Claus.  Some were scared, and some were excited as they each took a turn to sit on his lap.   They were given a Christmas bell and letter from Santa himself.  What a memorable day it was for all.

The second graders worked so hard throughout the month of December learning songs for the Christmas program. When the day of the performance came, all their hard work paid off! The students sang their hearts out for parents and friends, and brought Christmas cheer to everyone who heard!

Mrs. Chapman's 2nd Grade Class, has been learning about setting goals for the new year. After they wrote their goals, they had fun making a self portrait celebrating their new goals.

Parents we are excited to announce our Science Fair coming up next month on February 9, 2016! This is a change from the original date but it will give you more time to get your projects going. We are excited to see all the fun science projects our students come up with from every grade! If your child loves experiments and learning about Science and Technology, this would be a great project for them to work on.
