Owl Fun at Barnett’s Summer Library

Submitted by kali.brown on

Our students and family members had a lot of fun at last week's summer library learning all about what owls.  Miss Patti had a special activity planned afterwards where students were able to decorate their very own owl cupcake to go along with the story and song ... The Owl Who Was Afraid of the Dark, The Owl Song!  Thank you to all who were able to come and join in the fun… and a very special "shout out" to Miss Patti for organizing this awesome learning activity!

Happy to Welcome Mrs. Buchanan

Submitted by kali.brown on

Mrs. Buchanan comes to us from Mt. Loafer where she taught 4th grade remote last year. She and her husband have 4 children and live in Spanish Fork.

Her family spends most of their time at the ballpark watching baseball and softball games year round. She loves to travel and has a bucket list of places she hopes to see one day.

Favorite drink: Mtn Dew
Favorite treat: just about anything with chocolate

Mrs. Buchanan wants her students to know that she is there to help them with anything they need.

Say Hello to Miss Nash

Get to know Miss Amy Nash!

I’ve taught 1st grade for five years, with one year in 2nd before that. (All six years at Barnett!)

I grew up in Las Vegas with 2 sisters- I’m the middle child! We all live in different places but stay really close.

I love READING, traveling, cooking, crafting/creativity, and learning all kind of random things! (Like Morse Code, or how finish a Rubik’s cube, or ASL, or whatever catches my attention for a week or two!)

When I was in first grade, I was very quiet and I LOVED to read! I read everything I could get my hands on.
