We Love Mrs. Gardner

Submitted by kali.brown on Thu, 09/30/2021 - 18:05

THANK YOU and goodbye to our AMAZING school nurse, Kelsey Gardner.  She has been relentless in serving our students and their medical needs.  She has ensured all kids have their health care plans in order and all appropriate teachers understand how to help and keep kids safe.

We will miss you and wish you all the best at the other schools you serve.

September Bulldog Pride

Submitted by sarah.sumsion on Mon, 09/27/2021 - 21:27

We are excited to continue our Bulldog Pride tradition of recognizing Top Dogs and Leaders of the Month as nominated by the students' teachers. These students stood out for excellent academic efforts or behavior and citizenship.

Certificates were delivered to students on Friday by Mrs. Brown, Mrs. Sumsion and students from the student lighthouse team. On Monday we held an assembly where the students were cheered for by the student body and we held a Victory Lap through the school. It was wonderful to assemble as a student body again!

Utah Highway Patrol School Supply Drive

Barnett Elementary had some very special guests today delivering backpacks loaded with school supplies.  "This was the Utah Highway Patrol's first school supply drive and we are so grateful to have been able to donate to your school.  Back in August we reached out to the community through social media and asked them to donate school supplies to each one of our section offices.  The Women's Provo Elk Lodge played a tremendous part in the donations in your area, as well as other community members.  We are so grateful to be able to donate them and help the community in any way we can."  A HUGE

These AMAZING volunteers from @brighamyounguniversity spent their workday serving (& sweating it out) at Barnett.   They painted fun schoolyard activities on our blacktop, cleaned up the fence line by trimming back bushes and trees, cleaned up overgrown areas of the playground, fixed our soccer nets, and spread and evened out bark.  We appreciate these volunteers SOOO much!!  Thank you for your service!
