Alpha Dogs: Mrs. Johnson (4th grade teacher) & Mrs. Price (lunch secretary)
Jade from America First Credit Union partners with Barnett each year to help students at our school get new shoes for the coming year. Students were so excited and grateful for the shoes. Thank you America First for your generous contribution to our students of both time shopping, wrapping, delivering, organizing and for the shoes. Students made a thank you card by writing thank you and their names on ornaments which were assembled into a fun Christmas tree sign. Merry Christmas!
Congratulations to our Principal's 200 Club Winners. Students must be caught doing good things around the school to earn a Brag Note, then their name goes on the board and random winners are chosen for the overall winners. Keep up the good work Bulldogs!
Our 6th grade orchestra and 3rd-6th grade choir held their annual Christmas concert. Students performed beautifully. Special thanks to our orchestra teacher, Katie SanDiego, and our choir teacher, Madelyn Shearer, for all their time and effort put in to help our students perform.
Mrs. Stoddard hosted our "100th Annual" Gobble Off (she was joking of course). Fun was had by all with a winning gobbler from each class competing for a frozen turkey. Congratulations to the top 4 students - Taygen, Harvey, Christian (WINNER!), and Karime.
Teachers also competed with the top 3 being Mrs. Rush, Mrs. Moore and Mrs. Nash (WINNER).
Congratulations to our November Top Dogs, Leaders of the Month, Alpha Dogs (3rd grade teacher Mrs. Rush and Title I technician Mrs. Johnson) and Doggone Great Parent (Mrs. Barnes)!
Students also heard a presentation on the habits by the 1st graders.
