May Bulldog Pride Assembly
Students gathered for the last Bulldog pride assembly of the 2018-2019 school year. It was at this assembly that we celebrated many different awards. We celebrated our Alpha dogs, our top dogs and our leaders of the month. We also recognized those that placed in the track meet, the math olympiads and those that had perfect attendance for the whole school year! A new award was also given out this year. With our theme, Lead Like a Champion, there were class champions given out. These class champions were chosen by their classmates. We also recognized a faculty champion and a parent champion.
4th Grade County Reports and Program
Our 4th grade leaders ended the school year with a big county report project. Each student chose a county to research and learned as much information as they could. They then created a display about their county. Many of the students had memorized all kinds of facts about their county and could tell you what it was best known for! It was a great, quick trip around Utah that all took place in our school of Barnett! Such a fun way to learn all about Utah's counties!
Choir and Orchestra Spring Concert
Barnett choir and orchestra students had their spring concert, where they displayed their talents and hard work. The songs that were performed really got everyone in the mood for summer as we prepared for school to end. A big thanks to those that take the time and put in the hard work to really let these kids show off their musical talents! It was a great night full of music and fun!
Kindergarten Graduation
It is graduation season and among those graduating were our Barnett Kindergarteners. These little leaders made it through their year of Kindergarten and are all smiles. They will now move on to 1st grade where they will continue to grow in their education! Congratulations to our Kindergarten graduates!
Bulldog Pride in April
As the year begins to wind down, it becomes harder and harder to focus on school. April is especially hard with year end testing. However, our leaders at Barnett work so hard to make sure they are continuing to do their best in class and live the 7 habits. We were able to celebrate those that went above and beyond in the difficult month of April. Congrats to our Top Dog and Leaders of the month. Your efforts do not go unnoticed.

Kindy 500
The Kindergartners at Barnett had such a fun time at the Kindy 500. We started with a parade of box cars that the students made, race cars, bugs, firetrucks, school buses and so many more. Parents and other grade levels loved seeing the little kids parade around the school so proudly. Kindergartners then went on a tour of the country (classrooms in our school) to see American symbols and landmarks.
March Bulldog Pride
Just before we went on spring break, we acknowledged the top dogs and leaders in our school. Teachers choose who in their class is turning in exceptional work. These students take pride in their work and always show that it truly is their best. These students are our top dogs. Teachers then choose from their class, who is living the 7 habits everyday. These are students who are working hard to show and establish their leadership skills. These students become our leaders of the month. We started off our assembly with our Barnett cheerleaders.
