Science Fair
Today our 4th-6th graders participated in the school science fair. This was the culmination of a lot of hard work. Students demonstrated their understanding of the scientific process. Well done scientists!

Mrs Moore's class read "Pop's Bridge" a few weeks ago. For our lead time, 3rd grade is focusing on synergy this year. We made "bone bridges" as groups
The winners of the coloring contest got to ride in the ambulance to the Fire Station where they had lunch with the Payson Firefighters. Congrats winnerswinners!
Here at Barnett we understand the value of having accountability partners. These fourth graders and second graders are sharing their progress on their goals and cheering each other on!
Our class went to Red Barn in Santaquin. We learned about apple orchards and water conservation. The best part was picking our very own apples off a tree and eating them during our wagon ride
Our Barnett Bulldog Choir has started and meets every Monday after school. Our wonderful new teacher, Miss Shearer, will be directing the choir and has some great music planned. Here are some pictures from the first choir practice. It's not too late for 3rd-6th graders to join!
The first graders had a great time at the zoo today! The kids saw lots of animals and got to hang out with great friends! It was a great day!

We had a fantastic Family Night on September 23. Our Title I Coordinator shared how our Title I funds are spent and used to help support student learning and parent engagement. We also heard from our 1st-3rd graders as they sang a new leadership song. Well done kids! Two of our 6th grade students, Katelyn Caldwell and Taylor Humphries, spoke about settling goals both at school and at home. Our principal also spoke to kickoff our night of learning and sharing.
These are the top typers of 5th grade and received an invite to participate in the District Typing Contest in the Spring. Congratulations!
