Barnett Elementary would like to thank America First Credit Union-Payson Branch, for purchasing 100 pairs of shoes for students at Barnett. It was a great day when the recipients of the shoes all gathered together and opened their presents at the same time to discover a brand new pair of awesome shoes! Thank you again to America First Credit Union for taking care of our students!

Barnett Faculty Synergizing Fun

Submitted by angela.stoddard on

Our teachers came together in teams to make gingerbread displays again this year.  The rules were simple, your entry could not already be put together and you had one hour to do it all.  The creations were displayed in the school and then given away to students to take home and decorate their homes with.  This is a fun tradition of working together, synergizing, and having fun.  ENJOY THE PICTURES!

Buddy Reading

Barnett Bulldogs participated in a Buddy Reading event put on by the fabulous PTA. Students in the whole school, met up with family and accountability buddies and read various books to each other. They read holiday stories, books they're reading in class, and some of their favorite books. Students enjoyed some candy as they read. There were so many smiles as students gathered together to read. What a fun event! Thank you so much PTA for organizing such a fun time for everyone!

Make sure you check out these pictures! So fun!

3rd Grade Grandparents Day Program

Submitted by dayna.kirgan on

3rd Grade Leaders had their grandparents day program. The students have been practicing parts and songs to show their appreciation for their grandparents. Grandparents get to come have lunch with their grandchild, watch a program, and enjoy a cookie together. There were tears in the audience as the grandparents listened to the wonderful music and watched the special video made just for them. Grandkids smiled and waved and were so excited to spend the day with their grandparents. The third grade teachers would just like to thank everyone that could come.
