We had a fantastic Family Night on September 23. Our Title I Coordinator shared how our Title I funds are spent and used to help support student learning and parent engagement. We also heard from our 1st-3rd graders as they sang a new leadership song. Well done kids! Two of our 6th grade students, Katelyn Caldwell and Taylor Humphries, spoke about settling goals both at school and at home. Our principal also spoke to kickoff our night of learning and sharing.
These are the top typers of 5th grade and received an invite to participate in the District Typing Contest in the Spring. Congratulations!
Congratulations to the winners from our Principal's 200 Club! These students got their names on the board after earning a brag note from a teacher who caught them being a leader. Well done Bulldogs!
These 3rd graders are ready to integrate technology in their learning.
Teachers & students kicked off our yearly WIGs (Wildly Important Goals) with a fun skit & plenty of wig-wearing. We continue to focus on reading because it is so very important! We will also be adding a goal of having students earn 5000 brag notes or more in a year's time.
Students went to boot camp today to learn the rules, procedures and expectations for when they are in the lunch room, before and after school, walking in the halls, using the restrooms, going to the office, if and when to report bullying and more! These 3rd grade cadets wore their camo, as well as many other students and all the teachers, to support this fun event. The Uplift Parenting Conference is the initiative of First Lady of Utah Jeanette Herbert. Five presenters will be giving Tips Talks. Presenters include: David Osmond, Brad Barton, Jessie Funk, Collin Kartchner, and Clay Olsen. Topics range from resiliency, addiction recovery, social media, and anxiety. We caught some cute kids on the first day of school, including a special visit from Buddy the Bulldog to Mrs. Sonntag's class! We are so happy to have everyone back and successfully make it through the first week of school.
